Syria: CP Case Manager - Ariha Center

VACANCY REFERENCE: CPCM-BA-018

JOB PURPOSE:

  • Providing specialized services for children exposed to abuse, neglect, violence and harm
  • Taking into account the best interest of the child, non-discrimination and confidentiality and all child protection principles

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:

  • Coordinate with the psychological and social supporter on all psychological support activities in the center.
  • Supervise psychological support reports for sessions.
  • Manage the psychological support team and monitoring the team’s performance in coordination with mobile team leaders.
  • Conduct awareness sessions for women, young girls and boys, developing session curricula, and monitoring their implementation.
  • Sending technical reports to the direct manager.
  • Provide preventive and specialized gender-based violence services to beneficiaries at the center, and supervising the case management process.
  • Supervise the case management process and complying with the specified steps.
  • Provide a monthly report on the cases benefiting from the services provided at the center.
  • Organize weekly and monthly plans for the psychological support team, educational activities, and recreational activities for mobile teams.
  • Providing training courses for the technical team.
  • Maintain good relationships with team members and promoting team spirit.
  • Be responsible for identification, evaluation, documentation, referral to relevant services, and follow-up.
  • Providing information to beneficiaries on existing social services and how to have an access to them.
  • Ensuring continuous communication, transparency, and cooperation with stakeholders including community members, community leaders, and families.
  • Document best practices, cases studies, and lessons learned.
  • Keep files, records, computer databases, and records in paper or electronic form.
  • Providing weekly reports on activity implementation and cases.
  • Perform any other duties required by supervisors.

Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • University degree or institute in social sciences or psychological counseling or related to this subject.
  • Experience in humanitarian work (child protection and case management) for not less than two years, especially in the field of psychological support and protection with other humanitarian organizations.
  • Self-motivated and initiative with a high level of energy.
  • Strong knowledge and commitment to humanitarian work standards.
  • Commitment to human rights and community approach
  • Ability to work within a team under pressure and respond to changing needs.
  • Priority for applicants within the work areas

Language:

  • Excellent level in English
  • fluent in Arabic (written and spoken).

IT Skills:

  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Proficiency in the internet and search tools.
  • Proficiency in MS office (Excel, Access and word)
